Courtier acquires Widerlöv
Courtier AB (Courtier) has acquired Widerlöv, one of Sweden’s largest privately owned real estate agencies. Through the acquisition, Courtier strengthens its presence in Stockholm and the Mälardalen region.
Courtier is a Swedish real estate brokerage group bringing together established and locally anchored real estate agencies under their existing brands. The group provides its agencies with shared resources and operational support and aims to build a leading real estate brokerage group in Sweden and the Nordic region.
Founded in Uppsala in 1995, Widerlöv operates in Stockholm and the Mälardalen region. The company brokered approximately 3,000 residential property transactions in 2025 and also has a strong position in the new-build segment.
The acquisition includes Widerlöv’s company-owned offices, franchise operations, and Fjelkners Fastighetsmäkleri in Bromma, which forms part of the Widerlöv group. Other Widerlöv offices will continue to be operated by franchisees. Widerlöv will continue to operate under its existing brand.
Mannheimer Swartling advised Courtier in connection with the transaction. The firm’s team consisted primarily of Maria Holme, Sebastian Odh, Max W. Karlsson and Axel Tiedtke.
