Polaris Media invests in Stampen Media

The Norwegian listed company Polaris Media ASA, together with Swedish NWT Gruppen AB and VK-Media AB, invests in Stampen Media AB. The new consortium – PNV Media AB – becomes the owner of 51 percent of the shares in Stampen Media AB.

Stampen Media is one of the leading media groups in Sweden. The group’s 13 newspaper titles include Bohusläningen, Göteborgs-Posten, Hallands Nyheter, Hallandsposten, Strömstads Tidning and TTELA. The group has more than 1,500 employees.

After the transaction, Polaris Media will be a large Nordic media group with 45 media houses, of which 39 in Norway and six in Sweden.

Stampen Media AB and its shareholders were represented by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction.
