New commuter trains for public transportation in Uppsala, Dalarna, Örebro, Västmanland and Gävleborg county

AB Transitio has entered into an agreement with Stadler Rail regarding delivery of 15 new commuter trains with a contract value of approximately SEK 1.6 billion.

AB Transitio is jointly owned by the counties in Sweden with the objective of procuring, financing and managing rolling stock. The new trains will be used for regional traffic in Uppsala, Dalarna, Örebro, Västmanland and Gävleborg county.
