Matas acquires KICKS Group AB
Matas A/S has entered into an agreement to acquire all shares in KICKS Group AB from Axel Johnson.
KICKS Group, consisting of KICKS and the online skin care clinic Skincity, is one of the leading retailers of make-up, fragrances and professional skin and hair care in the Nordic region. KICKS has 226 stores in Sweden, Norway and Finland.
Matas is Denmark’s leading beauty retailer with more than 2,000 employees, 260 stores in Denmark and the Faroe Islands and sales of DKK 4.5 billion.
The transaction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2023.
Matas A/S was advised by Mannheimer Swartling with respect to Swedish law matters in the transaction.
