ESS Group acquires Örenäs Castle

The latest addition in ESS Group, being their 11th destination, is Örenäs Castle in south of Sweden. Örenäs Castle offers experience packages for private as well as business events and is one of Skåne’s largest conference facilities with a total of 115 hotel rooms.

ESS Group is working to create unique concepts and destinations in the hotel and restaurant industry. ESS Group was founded in 2007 when they acquired Ystad Saltsjöbad, and since then the ESS family has grown quickly. Latest with Ellery Beach House in the Stockholm archipelago, Fyri Resort in Norway, Marienlyst in Denmark, Steam Hotel in Västerås, MJ’s in Malmö and the upcoming 100 meter skyscraper JIMMY’Z in Gothenburg. The next destination is Örenäs Castle that ESS Group officially takes over from 1 October 2021.
