Capio has acquired Stockholms Ögonklinik
Capio has acquired Stockholms Ögonklinik AB, Valhallas Ögonklinik AB and Ögonspecialisterna i Stockholm AB through the parent company Stockholms Ögonklinik Holding AB. The clinic is Sweden’s largest private eye clinic and offers specialized healthcare in most fields associated with eyes. The clinics offer advanced surgical procedures such as retinal surgery, lens replacement, eyelid surgery, glaucoma surgery, outpatient surgery and cataract surgery.
Stockholms Ögonklinik will be included in Capio Medocular, which is part of the business area Capio Specialist Clinics. Capio Medocular was founded in 1986 and is today one of the largest private companies within ophthalmology treatments in the Nordics, specialised in general eye care, cataract surgery and treatment of sight disorders.
