Bergendahl & Son AB acquires a majority stake in KitchenTime AB
Bergendahl & Son AB (”Bergendahl”) has entered into an investment agreement regarding KitchenTime AB (”KitchenTime”), where Bergendahl becomes the owner of 53% of the shares through a share purchase and issuance of new shares.
KitchenTime has one of the Nordic’s largest platforms for the sale of kitchen products, an annual turn-over of SEK 340 million and 50 employees. Further, the furniture concept Confident Living is included in KitchenTime. Through the transaction Bergendahl will strengthen its position in relation to kitchen and home furnishing products and increase its focus on e-commerce. KitchenTime’s founders Joel Falck and Anton Malmberg remain as large owners and will continue to operate the company.
The closing of the transaction is conditional upon approval from the Swedish Competition Authority.
