A.P Møller Group acquires Unilabs
Mannheimer Swartling is advising A.P Møller Holding A/S (A.P. Moller Holding), the parent company of the A.P. Moller Group, on its acquisition of Unilabs from funds advised by Apax Partners.
Unilabs is one of the largest diagnostics providers in Europe and offers laboratory, pathology and imaging expertise to patients and caregivers. Its extensive network of more than 200 laboratories and 180 imaging centres employs 12,600 people across 15 countries in Europe and selected emerging markets. Unilabs has annual sales exceeding EUR 1,4 billion and conducts 210 million laboratory tests and 4 million imaging examinations annually.
The parties have agreed not to disclose transaction details. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
