Port of Gothenburg has agreed to a combined asset swap deal with Platzer

The Port of Gothenburg has acquired a larger land area in Arendal in Gothenburg. Through the acquisition, conditions are created for the port’s long-term plan for port development and further expansion. The Port of Gothenburg’s acquisition includes land and office properties as well as water areas, and the transaction enables the development of 210,000 square meters of new terminal space.

In connection with the Port of Gothenburg’s acquisition, a logistics property of approximately 24,000 square meters is also divested to Platzer.

The net cost of the Port of Gothenburg’s acquisition, after deducting the divestment of the logistics property to Platzer, amounts to SEK 684 million.
