Heidelberg Materials establishes joint venture on Lövholmen

Heidelberg Materials has established a joint venture with Skanska to jointly develop residential areas on Lövholmen, Stockholm.

Through a 50/50 joint venture, Heidelberg Materials and Skanska will develop residential projects on properties in the area previously owned by the parties. The residential projects will have a clear green profile, with Heidelberg Materials’ product evoZero being used in all concrete in the projects. EvoZero is produced in in the Heidelberg group’s cement factory in Brevik, Norway where the world’s first full scale carbon capture facility in the cement industry has been established and by implementing this technology, evoZero has near-zero emissions.

Heidelberg Materials was advised by Mannheimer Swartling on the project. The firm’s team consisted mainly of Hillevi Börjesson, Jonathan Hörnblad, Vilma Wålemark, Klara Sköld, Niklas Hagbard, Frida Blomberg and Max Karlsson.
