Northern Horizon acquires three new care properties in Sweden

Northern Horizon has expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of three elderly care homes under development in Bollnäs, Falun, and Växjö. The specialized social infrastructure asset manager acquired the properties from three separate sellers.

The three modern facilities, scheduled for completion in 2027, comprise a total area of approximately 17 000 square meters. Healthcare services at the Bollnäs and Falun facilities will be provided by the respective municipalities. For the Växjö facility, Northern Horizon has secured Vardaga as tenant through a 15-year lease agreement.

Northern Horizon was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transactions. The firm’s team consisted of Tomas Johansson, Karolina Gerdau, Lina Bergström, och Lisa Tyche.
