Mannheimer Swartling elects Andreas Johansson as new partner

Andreas Johansson

Andreas Johansson is part of Mannheimer Swartling’s EU and Competition Law team. His practice spans all areas of Swedish and EU competition law, state aid and trade defence. He appears regularly before the Swedish Competition Authority, the European Commission, domestic courts, arbitration tribunals and the European courts in Luxemburg. He heads up the EU Trade practice in the Brussels office and has successfully represented clients in a number of anti-dumping cases before the Commission and the EU courts. He has also been counsel in a number of cases relating to other areas of EU law before the EU courts, such as the renewable energy directive and the emissions trading system.

The Brussels office

Mannheimer Swartling Brussels is a specialist office for EU and competition law, with dedicated lawyers working in close collaboration with EU and competition experts from our other offices. It is the most substantial Brussels office of any Nordic law firm, and is now expanding to two partners and 10 lawyers.

The team covers the full spectrum of EU and competition law and advises on matters such as litigation and arbitration, cartel investigations and other investigations by the EU Commission and national competition authorities. Mandates also include dawn raids, complaints, merger notifications and other matters relating to competition law in M&A transactions, state aid, public procurement, free movement of goods and services, EU regulatory and EU trade.
