Climate Transition Plans: legal requirements and practical application
On 11 November 2025, we brought together clients, suppliers and partners for a well-attended seminar on climate transition plans (CTPs) at Mannheimer Swartling’s Stockholm office. The seminar explored the role that CTPs play in corporate strategy, risk management and responsible business.
Together with a panel of leading experts, we discussed emerging best practice in the field and how to work strategically with CTPs beyond the Omnibus framework.
Our panel of experts:
- Gustaf Folke, Biosphere Intelligence – who translated sustainability science into business insights and set the scene for why CTPs are essential.
- Madeleine Edqvist, Mannheimer Swartling – who provided an overview of the regulatory landscape and how CTPs can be used to manage risk.
- Marta Youeel, Scania Group – who shared practical experiences on how companies develop a CTP building on existing plans.
- Cecilia Näsman, U&We – who explained what a typical CTP includes and the data and governance required to guide its direction.
