Natlink acquires Heartrunner

Natlink, a portfolio company of Verdane, has acquired Heartrunner, an international growth company that has developed a leading B2G SaaS platform for response management and incident coordination in sudden cardiac arrest and other time-critical emergencies.

Heartrunner was founded as a research project at Karolinska Institutet and today covers over 14 million inhabitants in Sweden and Denmark. The company’s platform is used by emergency response centres, rescue services and approximately 250,000 volunteer lifeguards to quickly mobilise responses to acute emergencies.

Mannheimer Swartling advised the seller in the transaction. The firm’s team consisted of Rickard Carrick, Daniel Holmdahl, Frida Råhlander and Elise Aronsson.
