Lindab sells its Hungarian operations for profile products

Lindab has entered into an agreement to sell its Hungarian operations for profile products to a local Hungarian company. The divestment forms part of Lindab’s previously announced restructuring within the Profile Systems business area in Eastern Europe. The operations, comprising approximately 60 employees and with a turnover of SEK 120 million, include production, warehousing, and a sales organisation. The new owner intends to continue the business in the same direction and act as a distributor for many of Lindab’s profile products in Hungary.

Completion of the transaction is expected to take place during the first quarter of 2026.

Lindab is a leading ventilation group in Europe. The company develops, manufactures, markets, and distributes products and system solutions for energy-efficient ventilation and a healthy indoor climate.

Lindab was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction. The firm’s team consisted of Rickard Carrick, William Ahlberg, Jens Meynert, Lucas Leger Jonsson and Karin Palade.
