Green Coaster Shipping takes delivery of third plug-in hybrid vessel “Terramar”
Green Coaster Shipping has now taken delivery of its third new-generation electric/diesel plug-in hybrid general cargo vessel, Terramar, following the successful arrivals of Stellamar and Aquamar.
These vessels are part of the Green Coaster Shipping Pool, managed by AtoB@C Shipping, and financed by equity investors together with the Green Shipping Fund, managed by PROW Capital. Once all vessels are delivered, the Green Coaster Shipping Pool will consist of twelve vessels in total – six owned by Green Coaster Shipping and six by AtoB@C Shipping. The vessels in the pool will be placed as part of AtoB@C Shipping’s existing and growing contract traffic. Thus far, seven of the twelve vessels have been delivered, three to Green Coaster Shipping and four to AtoB@C Shipping. The remaining five vessels are scheduled for delivery by the autumn of 2026, further contributing to a more sustainable and low-carbon shipping industry.
Green Coaster Shipping was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in connection with the delivery of Terramar. The firm’s team consisted primarily of Johan Ljungberg, Susanne Fagerman, Christian Merenius, Ella Schelin and Mattias Arnesson.
