The project, which is Latvia’s largest wind power project to date, comprises 21 wind turbines with an expected capacity of 147 MW. Construction is expected to commence immediately, with commercial commissioning planned for the first half of 2027. Pienava is expected to deliver up to 475 GWh of renewable electricity per year to the Baltic power grid.

Eolus is a leading developer of innovative and customised renewable energy solutions, with a project portfolio including more than 25 GW wind, solar and energy storage projects.

Eolus was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction.
