Bufab acquires novia Group
Bufab has agreed to acquire novia Group, a German provider of global sourcing solutions and engineering services, focusing on markets such as MedTech, sanitary fittings, energy and solar. novia Group has in recent years achieved excellent growth and profit, with a net sales of approximately EUR 50 million in 2024. Closing of the transaction is expected to occur during October 2025.
Bufab is a trading company that offers its customers a full-service solution as Supply Chain Partner for sourcing, quality control, sustainability and logistics for C-Parts. Bufab was founded in 1977 in Småland, Sweden, and is an international group that today consists of more than 50 companies. The group has 1,800 employees in some 29 countries and annual sales of SEK 8 billion in 2024. The share is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm since 2014.
Mannheimer Swartling acted as Swedish law advisor to Bufab in the transaction. The firm’s team primarily consisted of Rickard Carrick, Ludvig Forfang Righard, Jakob Wijkander, Felicia Eckerman, Simon Larsson, Zoran Stambolovski and Anna Hjörneby.
