Bostadskreditfonden closes its first fund at SEK 6 billion

Bostadskreditfonden has closed its first private fund focused on construction financing in Sweden, raising SEK 6 billion.

The anchor investor is Apollo Global Management, one of the world’s leading actors in private credit. The fund focuses on construction loans for new-build housing in various forms, including rental apartments, tenant-owner apartments, care homes and student housing, with loan amounts ranging from SEK 150 million to SEK 1 billion per project.

Bostadskreditfonden is part of the Triol Group, a financial institution founded in 2020 that offers financing solutions to companies that manage or build real estate.

Mannheimer Swartling advised Triol in connection with the establishment of the fund. The firm’s team primarily consisted of Johan Frost Bergman, Klara Hellström Ängerud, Brita Nordell, Carl Ebenholm, Carl Johan Zimdahl, Oliver Friberg, Alina Kaiser, Gustav Glimblad, Johanna Antonsson and Gustav Ericsson.
