Boliden enters into a EUR 1 billion revolving credit facilities agreement

On 13 February 2026, Boliden entered into a EUR 1 billion revolving credit facilities agreement with a bank syndicate consisting of twelve Nordic and international banks.

The new credit facilities, consisting of a five-year tranche of EUR 500 million and a three-year tranche of EUR 500 million, replace Boliden’s existing EUR 850 million revolving credit facilities agreement. The facilities strengthen Boliden’s liquidity position on improved terms and enhance the company’s financial flexibility.

Boliden is a European producer of sustainable metals and operates within exploration, mines, smelters and recycling. Boliden has approximately 8,000 employees and annual revenues of around SEK 90 billion. The company’s shares are listed on Nasdaq Stockholm (Large Cap).

Boliden was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction. The firm’s team consisted of Thomas D. Pettersson, Rasmus Ringström and Filippa Dyrefors.
