Zephyr acquires largest shareholding in portfolio of offshore wind power projects in Sweden

Zephyr Renewable AB has entered into a share purchase agreement relating to the shares in a portfolio of offshore wind power projects. Through the transaction, Zephyr will take the position as the largest shareholder.

Zephyr will manage the continued development of the projects, which include Bothnia Offshore Sigma and Lambda North, located in the Bothnian Sea.

As a result of the transaction, Zephyr strengthens its position as one of the leading developers of offshore wind in Sweden. Offshore wind is expected to play an important role in meeting Sweden’s increasing electricity demand as industrial transformation and electrification accelerate.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
