Inwido acquires RM Snickerier AB
Inwido has acquired 85% of the shares in RM Snickerier, manufacturer of windows and doors, with manufacturing in Vimmerby, Sweden. RM Snickerier is a leading company in Sweden within the premium segment of windows and doors, offering modern features in traditional style. With the acquisition, Inwido is broadening its portfolio in Sweden in general and within the “allmoge” segment specifically. The founder will remain as CEO and minority owner, with closing expected to occur in October 2025. Inwido has been granted an option to acquire the remaining shares by 2030 at latest.
Inwido is Europe’s leading window group and its business concept is to develop and sell the market’s best customized window and door solutions through a decentralized structure and with a focus on the consumer-driven market. Inwido consists of 35 business units with approximately 4,700 employees in twelve countries. In 2024, the group had a turnover of SEK 8.8 billion. Inwido has been listed on Nasdaq Stockholm since 2014.
Inwido was represented by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction. The firm’s team primarily consisted of Lucas Leger Jonsson, Mikaela Wedbäck Pizevska, William Ahlberg, Simon Pålsson Högström, Alessia Todaro Zander, Jens Agö and Martin Rückel.
