Swedbank provides a sustainability-linked credit facility to Priveq Fund VII

Swedbank AB (publ) has entered into a credit facility agreement with the companies that make up Priveq Fund VII, which will primarily be used to finance the fund’s investment activities. The credit facility under the new agreement is linked to certain sustainability targets of Priveq, which means that the interest rate on the credit facility will be adjusted up or down based on the performance of Priveq Fund VII’s portfolio companies.

Priveq is a private equity firm focused on investing in Nordic growth companies, with an investor base that includes Swedish and international pension funds, insurance companies, foundations and other long-term investors.

Swedbank was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction.
