Vattenfall sells Grönhult wind park to TRIG

Vattenfall Vindkraft Sverige Aktiebolag, a subsidiary of Vattenfall AB, sells Grönhult wind park to The Renewables Infrastructure Group Limited (TRIG). The construction of the wind park will begin during spring 2021 and the wind park is expected to become operational at the end of 2022.

The wind park comprises 12 turbines with a total capacity of 67.2 MW. The yearly production is expected to amount to 210 GWh, corresponding to the yearly electricity consumption of 40,000 households. Vattenfall will be the project manager during the construction phase and the asset manager during the operational phase. Vattenfall will also provide market access services to the wind company.

Vattenfall is a leading European energy company that employs approximately 20,000 people and has operations mainly in Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and the UK. Vattenfall owns approximately 1,100 wind turbines in several different countries.
