Universum's Company Barometer survey names Mannheimer Swartling as law students' preferred employer
Each year, Sweden's university and college students vote for their future dream employers in the country's largest student survey, the Company Barometer (FöretagsBarometern). The results were presented on 20 March 2019 in Stockholm. Mannheimer Swartling was once again named as the most attractive employer when Sweden's law students voted for their future dream employer in the legal sector. For an amazing 17 consecutive years, the firm has ranked "best in the industry" among law firms, and, for the second consecutive year, students have named Mannheimer Swartling as the most popular workplace in all categories.
"It is extremely gratifying that Sweden's law students have named us the most attractive employer in all categories. As a knowledge-based company, our employees are everything to us, and the students are our future, so we are naturally extremely excited and proud of the award," says Jan Dernestam, Managing Partner at Mannheimer Swartling.
"This team spirit forms the foundation for how we organise and conduct our efforts. Over the years, this fine collaboration has proven to be an extremely successful way of running a business law firm. Above all, however, this means we have a workplace that we enjoy going to every day. I believe this is one of the reasons we succeed in attracting Sweden's sharpest lawyers," Jan Dernestam continues.
The Company Barometer is conducted annually by Universum and is a comprehensive student survey on careers, working life and the future. This year, more than 25,000 students from Sweden's universities and colleges participated in the survey, voting for Sweden's 100 most attractive employers.
