The City of Stockholm procures general IT services

The City of Stockholm has completed a public procurement of the city’s general IT infrastructure with related support services. The procurement is included as part of the city’s digitalisation efforts within the public sector. The IT services subject to the procurement include web tools, cloud services, user support, new work stations, tablets, smartphones, screens and printers as well as server operations.

A contract has been awarded Tieto Sweden AB (“Tieto”). The contract runs until 31 December 2023 with an option for extensions and relates to approximately 130,000 users. Tieto will under the agreement have a comprehensive responsibility for ensuring that the services procured comply with the contract’s requirement on functionality and quality, including a responsibility for implementation, support and exit assistance for the services procured.
