Mannheimer Swartling wins Chambers Europe ‘Best Swedish Firm of the Year’ award
Mannheimer Swartling was named ‘Best Swedish Firm of the Year’ at the Chambers Europe Awards for Excellence ceremony held in Amsterdam on 24 April 2015.
“We are delighted that Mannheimer Swartling has been named ‘Best Swedish Firm of the Year’,” says Jan Dernestam, managing partner. “We work hard to exceed our clients’ expectations in every single assignment, to always deliver the highest quality and offer innovative advice and solutions.”
This recognition closely follows the firm receiving IFLR’s ‘Law Firm of the Year: Sweden’ award in London a couple of weeks ago, the ‘Who’s Who Legal Country Award for Sweden’ in Washington D.C. last night, and achieving an unparalleled showing in the latest edition of Legal 500.
“This bevy of awards as we celebrate our 25th anniversary indicates that we’re surely on the right track – but it also inspires us to never let up – so that we retain our leading position even in the next quarter-century.”
The award is bestowed on the basis of research carried out for Chambers Europe 2015 and reflects a law firm’s pre-eminence in key practice areas and notable achievements over the past 12 months, including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service. Mannheimer Swartling now has received this distinction four times – in 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2015 – and has been shortlisted every year since the award was introduced eight years ago.
In the 2015 edition of the Chambers Europe law firm directory, Mannheimer Swartling is ranked in all practice areas in Sweden, achieving the highest possible placement of ‘Band 1’ in 14 categories, and over 45 of the firm’s lawyers are ranked. Chambers and Partners also publishes an international directory, Chambers Global, in which Mannheimer Swartling received very high rankings earlier this year in these practice areas: Banking & Finance, Capital Markets, Corporate/M&A, Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property and Restructuring/Insolvency.
