Mannheimer Swartling ranked as the most popular employer among Swedish law students in Universum survey
Mannheimer Swartling has been ranked as the most attractive employer when Swedish law students voted for their future dream employer in the legal sector. For 15 consecutive years, Mannheimer Swartling has received the award "best of the industry" among law firms, but now the popularity outside the legal services category is evident and the firm is at the top of the entire law industry. This is shown in Universum's annual company barometer (the Swedish Student Survey), which is the largest annual survey conducted at all universities in Sweden.
"We are very proud of this award and it is of course enormously pleasing that Swedish law students have appointed us as the most attractive employer in the legal sector. The fact that we are placed at the top is clear evidence that we are doing things right in our long-term efforts to attract Sweden's most talented lawyers," says Jan Dernestam, Managing Partner at Mannheimer Swartling.
"There are several factors that contribute to us being able to attract Sweden's brightest and most passionate lawyers to Mannheimer Swartling. The fact that we have the ambition to always stay at the absolute forefront of identifying trends and tendencies is one of those factors. In addition, I believe that this is a result of us being able to convey our strong corporate culture - where we encourage initiative, collaboration and knowledge sharing, and that we together form a powerful collective where all employees have the feeling that they are not only able to influence their own future, but the whole firm's."
Universum's annual company barometer is a comprehensive student survey on careers, work environments and future trends. Students from Swedish universities have participated in the survey, which is the 31st of the scheme. The results were presented in Stockholm on March 21 2018.
