Mannheimer Swartling most popular law firm among students for twelfth consecutive year in Universum survey

For the twelfth year in a row, Mannheimer Swartling has been ranked as the most popular law firm to work for by law students in Sweden. The firm also improved its position outside the legal services category, climbing up to second place among all employers, second only to Sweden’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Universum’s FöretagsBarometer (The Swedish Student Survey) is the largest survey conducted annually at all leading universities in Sweden.

“We are very proud that students have named us the most attractive employer among law firms for the twelfth consecutive year. Even more gratifying is that we managed to climb a step higher on the podium,” says Jan Dernestam, Managing Partner at Mannheimer Swartling.

“Many factors contribute to our ability to attract Sweden’s brightest lawyers to Mannheimer Swartling,” he continues. “But above all, I think it is because we manage to convey our strong corporate culture – where collaboration and knowledge sharing is encouraged and all employees have the opportunity to be involved in developing the firm from day one.”

FöretagsBarometer is a comprehensive survey of students’ views on career, work environment and future trends. Over 15 000 students from Sweden’s universities have participated in this year’s survey, conducted between October 2013 and February 2014. The results were presented in Stockholm on 6 March 2014.
