Mannheimer Swartling most attractive law firm among university students for 13th consecutive year according to Universum’s FöretagsBarometern 2015
For the 13th year in a row, Mannheimer Swartling has been ranked as the most attractive law firm to work for by law students in Sweden. The firm also bolstered its position outside the legal services category, securing second place among all employers for the second year in a row, after Sweden’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Universum’s FöretagsBarometern (the Swedish Student Survey) is the largest annual survey conducted at all leading universities in Sweden.
“We are very proud that students have named us the most attractive employer among law firms for the 13th consecutive year. We are both pleased and encouraged by the fact that we are able to recruit and develop the brightest and most passionate legal talent year after year,” says Jan Dernestam, Managing Partner at Mannheimer Swartling.
“That we venture to take a long-term approach is one of many factors that contribute to our ability to attract Sweden’s most promising lawyers to Mannheimer Swartling,” he continues. “But above all, I think it is because students recognise the strengths of our corporate culture – where collaboration and knowledge sharing is encouraged, and where all employees have the feeling that they’re not only able to influence their own future, but the whole firm’s.”
FöretagsBarometern is a comprehensive survey of students’ views on careers, work environments and future trends. Over 23,000 students from Sweden’s universities participated in this year’s survey, which was conducted between September 2014 and February 2015. The results were presented in Stockholm on 11 March 2015.
