Litorina partners with Eton
Litorina IV L.P. has become the new majority owner of Eton Fashion AB. Eton, a market leader in fine quality men’s shirts, ties, and accessories, was previously wholly owned by the Davidson family who will retain a 35 per cent ownership.
Eton was founded in 1928 in Gånghester, Sweden. Today, the company sells more than six hundred thousand shirts a year in 35 countries around the world and has an annual turnover of approximately SEK 300 million.
Litorina IV is Litorina’s latest fund and has a committed capital of SEK 2.5 billion. Since the first Litorina fund was established in 1998, Litorina’s funds have invested a total of SEK 2.5 billion in 36 companies. Litorina’s current portfolio comprises 15 companies with a combined turnover of SEK 8 billion.
Litorina IV was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction. The firm’s team included partner Mattias Karlsson and associates Johan Frost Bergman, Kristoffer Stråth and Adam Erdling.
