Länsförsäkringar establishes Swedish MTN programme
Länsförsäkringar AB has established a SEK 2.5 billion Swedish MTN programme. The programme enables Länsförsäkringar to issue medium term notes denominated in EUR and SEK with fixed and floating interest rates on the capital market and is the first MTN programme in Sweden under the revised prospectus rules which entered into force on 1 July 2012.
Länsförsäkringar AB serves as the financial hub of the Länsförsäkringar Alliance, a co-operation of 23 customer-owned regional insurance companies that is unique in the Swedish bank and insurance market.
Länsförsäkringar AB is advised by Mannheimer Swartling on the establishment of the MTN programme. The firm’s team includes partner Mattias Lampe, primarily assisted by Nils Nostell and Rasmus Fahlén.
