Lammhults Design Group divests Scandinavian Eyewear
Lammhults Design Group has agreed to divest Scandinavian Eyewear AB to Marchon Europe. Marchon, a company within the VSP Global group, is one of the world’s largest producers and distributors of spectacle frames.
Lammhults Design Group is one of Sweden’s most prominent design companies with an annual turnover of over SEK 750 million and approximately 400 employees.
Scandinavian Eyewear’s brand portfolio includes the own brands Skaga and .SE as well as licensing deals for the Efva Attling, Face Stockholm, Oscar Jacobson, Pilgrim, Lexington and Oscar Magnuson brands. The business has 43 employees and had a turnover in 2011 of approximately SEK 103 million.
Lammhults Design Group was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction. The firm’s team was led by Lars Kongstad, assisted by Annika Edmén and Rickard Fredén.
