Kungsleden acquires properties in Kista Science City and Högsbo in Gothenburg
Kungsleden has acquired one property in Kista Science City and four properties in Högsbo in Gothenburg, two growth markets where Kungsleden at present has a strong position. The combined purchase price amounts to SEK 676 million.
In Kista Science City, Kungsleden has acquired the property Hornafjord 1, with a total leasable area of 23,000 square metres, from the property fund Genesta for SEK 514 million. In Gothenburg, Kungsleden has acquired four properties from Platzer for SEK 162 million, adding 17,000 square metres to the company’s existing portfolio in the Högsbo area.
Kungsleden is a Swedish real property company quoted on the Nasdaq Stockholm since 1999. The company’s real property portfolio consists of commercial properties.
Kungsleden was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in both of the transactions. Klas Wennström and Hillevi Börjesson led the firm’s two teams, which consisted of Olle Källström, Jenny Karlsson, Charlotte Nyström and Linnéa Kallhed.
