JAB acquires Espresso House from Herkules
JAB Holding has agreed to acquire Espresso House from Herkules Private Equity.
Espresso House, established in 1996, is one of the leading branded coffee shop chains in the Nordics with more than 190 shops across Sweden and Norway.
JAB is a privately held global investment company focused on investments in companies with premium brands in the consumer goods category.
JAB was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction. The firm's team was led by Fredrik Andretzky and included Martin Fagerlund, Henrik Johansson, Jonas Lagerroos, Johan Sundqvist, Emma Ericson and Harry Westerman Wood (M&A); Johan Carle and Klas Arvidsson (Competition); and Andreas Zettergren and Adam Rångemyr (Banking and Finance).
