Hexagon implements rights issue of approximately SEK 6,500 million
Hexagon implements a rights issue of approximately SEK 6,500 million. The main objective of the rights issue is to finance part of the acquisition of the US based software provider Intergraph Corporation. On July 6, 2010, Hexagon entered into an agreement to acquire Intergraph for a cash purchase price of USD 2,125 million on a cash and debt free basis. The rights issue is subject to approval by an Extraordinary General Meeting to be held on November 24, 2010. Two of Hexagon’s largest shareholders, and the company’s CEO and CFO have undertaken to subscribe for shares corresponding to more than 50 per cent of the rights issue.
