Cybercom divests Chinese operations to Wicresoft

Cybercom has divested its Chinese operations to Wicresoft, a leading ITO/BPO ITO (Information Technology Outsourcing; BPO - Business Process Outsourcing) service provider in China.

Cybercom’s business in China, with about 100 employees, has been divested in accordance with the company’s strategy to intensify focus on major businesses in the Nordics, streamline its client proposition, and concentrate around its Indian operations for offshore deliveries.

The Cybercom Group is a turn-key solution provider, offering end-to-end solutions in security, Internet services, connected devices and telecom management. Cybercom has approximately 1,500 employees and its consultants work around the world from its own offices in 9 countries. Cybercom was founded in 1995 and is quoted on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm.

Cybercom was advised by Mannheimer Swartling on all Swedish and Chinese aspects in the transaction. The firm’s team was composed of lawyers located in Sweden and China and included partner Jan Holmberg (Gothenburg and Stockholm, formerly based in the firm’s Shanghai office), primarily assisted by senior associates Andreas Elving (Shanghai) and Emma Olnäs Fors (Gothenburg), and legal consultants Echo Cao (Shanghai) and Wayne Zhang (Shanghai).
