Akelius sells property to HSB housing co-operative
Akelius Fastigheter, one of Sweden’s largest private property companies, has sold a property comprising five buildings and approximately five hundred apartments to a tenant-owners’ co-operative within HSB Norr in Luleå, Sweden.
HSB is one of Sweden’s biggest housing organisations. The transfer and conversion of ownership to HSB brf Varvet-Hägern, a tenant-owners’ co-operative under the auspices of HSB Norr, is the largest in Luleå to date. Akelius is one Sweden’s largest private property companies with holdings in Sweden and Germany valued at approximately SEK 36.5 billion (as on March 2013).
