Vattenfall issues EUR 1.65 billion triple-tranche bonds

On 18 October 2022, Vattenfall issued three tranches of new bonds in an aggregate amount of 1.65 billion EUR.

The bonds, which were issued under Vattenfall’s Swedish law governed programme for Euro Medium Term Notes, have been admitted to trading on Nasdaq Stockholm. The new bonds have been assigned BBB+ and A3 credit rating by the credit rating agencies S&P and Moody’s, respectively.

Vattenfall is a leading European energy company with approximately 19,000 employees and operations mainly in Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and the United Kingdom. Vattenfall is owned by the Swedish state.
