Summa Equity invests in Ivbar Institute

Summa Equity has invested in Ivbar Institute AB (“Ivbar”). Ivbar is a Swedish digital health company that has developed a big data analytics technology that enables improved management of healthcare through a focus on patient value. The platform improves transparency and provides unique levels of insights into both patient outcomes and resource allocation.

The investment was carried out through Summa Digital, a platform established for Summa Equity’s investments in companies within the big data sector. By establishing a joint platform for big data investments, Summa Equity aims at creating good conditions for synergies, for example in go-to-market and development processes.

Summa Equity has become the largest shareholder of Ivbar through the investment. Ivbar’s management remain shareholders of the company and retain their positions within the management.
