Norra Vedbo Wind Farm Project Reaches Financial Close

NTR Plc (“NTR”) as original sponsor has on 14 May 2021 reached  a EUR 115,000,000  financial close of its onshore wind farm project in Norra Vedbo, Sweden with an anticipated total installed capacity of 86 MW.

The project is financed with senior project financing provided by Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (publ) (”SEB”), and equity from NTR’s Renewable Energy Income Fund II alongside with Reichmuth Infrastructure II CIP, which has joined the project as co-investor.

The Norra Vedbo project will consist of 20 Vestas V150 turbines, each with an installed capacity of 4.3MW and once operational, it is estimated that the project will produce enough clean power to serve the annual consumption of circa 44,000 households.

The project is expected to enter operations during the fourth quarter 2022 and NTR has signed a ten-year clean energy power purchase agreement for the project.

Mannheimer Swartling represented SEB in the transaction.
