Castellum invests in a new courtroom building in Malmö

Castellum and the Swedish National Courts Administration has, following approval from the Swedish government, entered into a lease agreement regarding new modern courtroom premises in Malmö. The term of the lease agreement is 20 years. The plan is that the new courtroom premises shall accommodate Malmö District Court, Malmö Administrative Court and the Rent Tribunal.

The courtroom building, which is yet to be constructed, will be located in Nyhamnen, close to Malmö Central Station, and the project proposal has been created by Henning Larsen Architects. The construction works are planned to commence during the second quarter of 2019 and the calculated construction time is two years. After completion, the new courtroom building will comprise approx. 27 000 leasable area.
