Göteborg Energi and Ale Municipality divest Ale Fjärrvärme
Göteborg Energi AB and Ale Municipality have entered into agreement with Solör Bioenergi Fjärrvärme AB to divest all shares in Ale Fjärrvärme AB. The transaction is expected to close in the beginning of March 2022.
Ale Fjärrvärme AB is the district heating business in Ale Municipality, supplying heat to approximately 950 delivery points through a 65 km long district heating network. The company purchases, produces and distributes heat to ca. 670 private customers and ca. 95 companies in the municipality. Delivered normal annual heat volume is estimated at approximately 58 GWh.
Solör Bioenergy Group is a leading player in renewable energy based on wood fuels with over 250,000 users every day. Solör Bioenergy Group is located at 181 sites, primarily in Sweden and Norway, where it produces and distributes district heating, steam and electricity to homes, companies, public enterprises and industries.
