Wirtgen Wind Invest GmbH invests in Laxåskogen wind park

Wirtgen Wind Invest GmbH has acquired Laxåskogen wind park in the municipality of Laxå from WKN AG and TCC Förvaltning AB. The wind park will comprise of 7 Siemens SWT-3.6-130 (3.6 MW) turbines with a total capacity of 25.2 MW and with a total height of maximum 200 meters per turbine. Sveaskog is the owner of the land where the wind park will be built.

Wirtgen Wind Invest is the German Wirtgen family’s investment vehicle for renewable energy investments. Laxåskogen wind park is the first investment in Scandinavia by Wirtgen Wind Invest.

WKN is a leading developer of turn-key energy projects in Europe, South Africa and in the US, and the company has initiated and realized projects with a total of about 1,350 megawatts capacity. TCC Förvaltning is a Swedish developer and specialist in wind measurements.
