The Swedish state sells 260 million shares in Nordea raising SEK 19.5 billion
The Swedish government has today completed the sale of 260 million shares in Nordea, raising SEK 19.5 billion. The transaction was made through an accelerated bookbuilding directed at Swedish and international institutional investors. The proceeds from the sale will be used to reduce the Swedish national debt.
The Swedish government was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction. The firm’s team included Eva Hägg, Emil Boström and Gustaf Hygrell.
