Publicis Groupe acquires Schwartz Communications
Publicis Groupe has acquired all assets of the PR and communications company Schwartz Communications, Inc., including its UK and Swedish subsidiaries. The company, founded by Steve and Paula Mae Schwartz in 1990, has 180 employees in Boston, San Francisco, Stockholm and London.
Publicis Groupe is the third largest communications group in the world, offering the full range of services and skills within digital and traditional advertising, public affairs and events, media buying and specialized communication. Present in 104 countries, the group employs 50,000 professionals.
Publicis Groupe was advised by Mannheimer Swartling with respect to the acquisition of the Swedish subsidiary and other Swedish aspects of the transaction. The firm’s team was led by Maria Tufvesson Shuck and Hampus Thofte, primarily assisted by Helena Sjöholm.
