Proventus Capital Partners raises SEK 12 billion new fund

Proventus Capital Partners has completed raising its third fund, Proventus Capital Partners III, at the cap of approximately SEK 12 billion. Investors in Proventus Capital Partners III include public and corporate pension funds, insurance companies, foundations, endowments and family offices with, for the first time, approximately one third of the capital raised outside the Nordics. The fund will be regulated as an AIF (Alternative Investment Fund) by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority.

Proventus Capital Partners raised its first institutional fund in 2009 with total commitments of EUR 216 million. In 2011 and 2012, Proventus Capital Partners raised funds II and IIB with total commitments of SEK 7.4 billion. All funds are structured as Swedish limited liability companies issuing listed debentures to the fund investors.

Proventus has been advised by Mannheimer Swartling in connection with the structure and set-up of all the Proventus funds. In relation to Proventus Capital Partners III the firm’s team consisted of André Andersson, Marcus Glimberg and Henrik Dock.
