Perstorp divests Formox to Johnson Matthey
Perstorp Specialty Chemicals AB has divested Formox AB to Johnson Matthey Plc.
Formox is the world’s leading provider of technology and complete plants for production of formaldehyde as well as metal oxide catalysts for use in formaldehyde plants.
The Perstorp Group is a world leader in several sectors of the specialty chemicals market. The Perstorp Group has an annual turnover of more than SEK 11 billion and employs approximately 1,600 people. Perstorp is controlled by PAI partners, one of Europe's leading private equity companies.
Johnson Matthey Plc, quoted on the London Stock Exchange, is a global speciality chemicals company focused on catalysts with operations in over 30 countries and approximately 10,000 employees.
