Michael Karlsson elected to board of CSR Sweden

Mannheimer Swartling partner Michael Karlsson has been elected to serve on the board of CSR Sweden. CSR Sweden is Sweden’s leading business network focusing on corporate social responsibility and community involvement. The network’s principal task is to inspire companies in their work with corporate responsibility issues and to foster discussion between business and politicians.

CSR Sweden has 19 member companies and is the national partner of CSR Europe, the leading CSR business network with 70 multinational member companies and 36 sister organizations in 29 countries, a total of 5,000 companies. More information is available at www.csrsweden.se and www.csreurope.org.

Michael Karlsson has been a partner at Mannheimer Swartling since 1991 and is specialised in mergers and acquisitions. He also is the chairman of the firm’s pro bono activities which are carried out under the auspices of Mannheimer Swartling in the community. Projects in the firm’s “Mannheimer Swartling in the community” programme span a wide range within the area of the rule of law and legal rights – from support for vulnerable children and youths to courses in human rights for lawyers from all over the world. The common thread in these projects is that they all aim to promote human and other social rights, both in Sweden and internationally.
