Mannheimer Swartling elects new partners

Mannheimer Swartling is pleased to announce that it has elected Hillevi Börjesson, Andreas Steen, Andreas Zettergren and Per Åsbrink as partners, effective 1 January 2015.

“We are delighted to announce the election of four new partners from within our ranks,” said Jan Dernestam, Managing Partner of Mannheimer Swartling. “Each one of these outstanding individuals has already demonstrated an exceptional commitment to our clients and the firm and it is a privilege to welcome them into new and expanded roles within Mannheimer Swartling. The newly elected partners

HilleviHillevi Börjesson is a member of Mannheimer Swartling’s Real Estate practice group and is based in the firm’s Gothenburg office. Her practice includes advising both Swedish and international clients, within the private as well as the public sector. She has extensive experience from inter alia sale- and purchase transactions, real estate joint ventures, land parcelling, property development, exploitation and commercial lease. Ms Börjesson joined the firm in 2005 and is a member of the Swedish Bar Association. She has received LL.M. degrees from the University of Gothenburg School of Business, Economics and Law and the University of Oslo Faculty of Law and she also serves as a lecturer in corporate law at the University of Gothenburg.
 
 
 
Andreas SteenAndreas Steen is a member of Mannheimer Swartling’s Corporate Commercial practice group and is based in the firm’s Stockholm office. Mr. Steen specialises in corporate law and his practice includes advising clients in a wide range of complex structural projects, including joint ventures, restructurings and corporate establishments. He also has a strong focus in Corporate Compliance & Investigations matters and has had a leading role in several of the firm’s larger assignments in this area. Mr. Steen joined the firm in 2005 after serving in district court as a court clerk. He is a member of the Swedish Bar Association and has received an LL.M. degree from Stockholm University where he also serves as a lecturer in corporate law.
 
 
 
Andreas ZetterbergAndreas Zettergren is a member of Mannheimer Swartling’s Banking and Finance practice group and is based in the firm’s Stockholm office. His practice includes advising clients in connection all types of financing related matters, particularly project, asset and leverage financing as well as leasing. Mr. Zettergren first joined the firm in 2003 and then served for more than two years as in-house counsel at the Swedish Export Credit Corporation (SEK) and DNB Bank before returning to the firm in 2011. He is a member of the Swedish Bar Association and has received an LL.M. degree from Stockholm University
 
 
 
 
Per ÅsbrinkPer Åsbrink is a member of Mannheimer Swartling’s Mergers and Acquisitions and Real Estate practice groups and is based in the firm’s Malmö office. His practice includes advising clients on domestic as well as cross-border transactions and joint ventures, supporting international investors seeking opportunities in the Nordic region and the firm’s clients in both their foreign and domestic deals. Mr Åsbrink joined the firm in 2005. He is a member of the Swedish Bar Association and has received an LL.M. degree from Lund University.
